мартенситная закалка
1. Упрочняющий технологический процесс, в котором находящийся в аустенитном состоянии материал на железной основе охлаждается в соответствующей среде при температуре чуть выше температуры начала мартенситного превращения, выдержке в среде, до выравнивания температуры по сечению, но не достаточного для того, чтобы произошло формирование бейнита, затем охлаждается на воздухе. Обработка часто сопровождается отпуском.
2. Когда процесс применяется к цементированному материалу, контроль над температурой начала мартенситного превращения производится в каждом случае. Эту разновидность процесса часто называют закалкой на мартенсит.
